PHOTO CLUB NEWS - SPRING 2017
2017 is the ‘year of the eagle’ – our June Weekend in the Woods (#43) will be at Eagle Bay Resort, in a return to East Trout Lake.
Our September WITW will be hosted at Eagle Point Resort, Lac La Ronge. Hopefully this is an omen of great wildlife and bird-in-flight opportunities!
There are many photo displays to keep us busy once again – our ongoing shows at the Gateway Mall, South Hill Mall, and the Victoria Hospital.
Photos are changed at these sites every 8 weeks.
February is once again the Juried Arts Show at the Mann Art Gallery, for the PA Winter Festival.
April brings the Hobby Show, hosted by the PA Model Railroaders.
August is the PA Exhibition, and the club organizes, judges, and oversees the photo competition.
There are some great club meeting presentations lined up, with speakers from Saskatoon and Melfort, as well as local photographers.
We hope to again set up some club outings and workshops, and spend an evening or afternoon at nearby destinations.
Have a great spring and summer, with lots of sucessfull shooting.
