It seems there is some confusion on how to properly mount your photos for entry in the PA EX.

I will attempt to show what is required to meet the rules so your entry will not be excluded from judging.

Make sure to consult the rule book in case the rules have changed since I wrote this page.

You MUST use 16 x 20 Mat board or Foam Core as a backing for you photo.

No bristol board, cardboard, etc. Mat board or Foam Core ONLY

How you attach your photo is up to you.

The prefered method is to use a spray adhesive and glue it to the backing board.

Some tape it to the backing board.

Some tape it to the back of the mat.

IF you choose to mat your photo, you can place mat board in front of the photo.

Just make sure they are attached securely.

The exhibit hall is very humid and a lot of tapes will let go before the week is out.

Even by the time 24 hours has elapsed and it's time to judge, there are usually fallen photos.
